Opening hours

From May 21 to September 22 
10am - 6pm

From September 23 to May 20
10am - 5pm

 From Easter until the start of the high season (21 May), the castle closes at 6pm every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday. 

Please note: The last ticket is issued at the ticket office 45 minutes before the monument closes. Access to the Sainte-Chapelle and the dungeon is possible until 4.30pm (5.30pm in high season). The public is evacuated from 4.45pm (5.45pm in high season).

Monument closure

Closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.

The Sainte-Chapelle closes during the lunch break between 1pm and 2pm.

The Sainte-Chapelle will be closed from 15 to 23 April 2024 inclusive to set up the exhibition "À la table des trois mousquetaires".

Free tickets can be obtained at the ticket office upon presentation of proof of identity.

  • Job seekers (upon presentation of a certificate of less than 6 months)

Visit the château at your own pace, equipped with a tablet and headphones. An immersive audio tour lasting an hour and a half will take you back to the different periods in the castle's construction.

Practical details
 

The Revelacio tablet is included in the admission ticket

A valid identity document (identity card, passport, driving licence, health insurance card, etc.) must be left with you for the duration of the visit.

Visitors can be equipped no later than 45 minutes before the château closes.

The only entrance to the château is via the Tour du Village, on the Avenue de Paris.

The gates near the Parc Floral are closed.

By car

Visitors are not allowed to park their vehicles inside the castle.

Services and conditions of visit

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Souvenir shop.
  • Toilets (accessible only with the monument ticket).
  • Dogs are not allowed in the monument, except for guide and assistance dogs.
  • Strollers are not allowed inside the monuments (they can be left outside).
  • Luggage dimensions allowed: 40x20x50 cm. 
  • No eating, drinking or smoking inside the monuments.
