A new director joins our team
Jocelyn Bouraly has been appointed director of the Château de Vincennes with effect from 1 October.

By decision of Marie Lavandier, President of the Centre des monuments nationaux, Jocelyn Bouraly has been appointed Administrator of the Château de Vincennes with effect from1 October 2025. He succeeds Pascal Monnet, who from that date will devote himself entirely to the mission relating to the history of the CMN entrusted to him by the President.
A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure and the Hautes Études Commerciales, Jocelyn Bouraly has spent most of his career in the cultural sector, notably at the Bibliothèque nationale de France as director of the editorial and commercial department. He joined the Centre des Monuments Nationaux in 2011, where he has held a number of positions: Acting Director of Cultural Development and Audiences, Director of Publishing, Administrator of the Villa Cavrois, Amiens Cathedral and the Colonne de la Grande Armée, then Administrator of the Hôtel de la Marine.
Since 2022, he has been a director of the Palais du Tau, the Towers of Reims Cathedral and the Château de Haroué. The Presidency and the General Management would like to thank him warmly for his interim role as administrator of these sites, which he will hold until his successor is appointed.
