Entrance to and exit from the castle is via the Tour du Village (on avenue de Paris, a stone's throw from metro station 1), despite the works currently underway.

This autumn, the castle is making Vincennes the capital of the digital arts with an event that's as spectacular as it is original. Contemporary installations in the setting of the monument will gently prepare your senses for the immersive experience that follows.
In the heart of the Sainte-Chapelle, a colourful sphere called "Lune Dichroïque" will captivate the eye:
[...] Dichroic matter is a poignant metaphor for the human condition, a condition in which we constantly navigate between multiple identities, reflecting or absorbing the influences around us depending on the context.
It reminds the observer that, just as the moon does not emit its own light but reflects that of the sun, we too are dichroic beings, transforming ourselves in response to our environment and others [...]
About the artist
Born in Orléans, Jérémie Bellot studied cinema and architecture in Grenoble and Strasbourg. He became a state-qualified architect and devoted himself to his artistic practice. An architect and digital artist, Jérémie Bellot co-founded the AV-Exciters collective in 2012, which specialises in architectural videomapping and light installations. He is also a founding member of the AV Lab Fab Lab in Strasbourg, which opened in 2013.
Since 2014, he has been artistic director of SAS AV Extended and works with Anne Sophie Acomat at Studio DAAO on micro-architecture and object design. In 2019, he founded Ateliers Eclairés, a third-party space in Strasbourg's Port du Rhin, and became the association's president. That same year, he was appointed curator for the Constellations festival in Metz. In 2020, he co-founded the "Château de Beaugency, Centre d'art numérique" project and is responsible for its programming and artistic direction.
